Richard Moes died in an accident at home near Chicago on January 20, 2001, and his funeral was Jan. 26, 2001. Richard was the son of Jim and Madeline Moes (brother of John & Anton Moes).

Richard was survived by his wife Mary, 2 sons and 3 daughters.
